Decorator Shades & Blinds offers a 5 day rush service. Have you ever given a customer a price quote and then never heard back from them? Then after two months they call you and need the blinds/shades installed in less than two weeks for a party/wedding/holiday/etc. Now, you can place that order as a 5 day rush order and will fabricate and ship your order in 5 days (as long as the material is in stock). Products available for our rush service are: - Bamboo, Grass & Exotic Reed Shades
- Wood Blinds 1", 2", 2 ½"
- Faux Wood Blinds 2", 2 ½"
- Honeycomb Shades 3/8", 1/2", 3/4"
- Bamboo Blinds 2"
Orders will be shipped by UPS ground 5 days after we receive them. If you need next day or second day shipping, please make that note on the order (an extra shipping charge will apply). Your cost for 5 day rush service is $25 per shade/blind.

BASSWOOD BLIND VALANCE ATTACHES WITH MAGNETS

| | | | | | All valances on Basswood blinds (1", 2", 2 ½") and Faux Wood blinds (2", 2 1/2") atttach to the headrail with a new magnetic system. This new valance magnet system is completely hidden when viewed from the front of the blind. The magnets are very strong and durable. This simple system gives you another reason to up sell your customer to wood blinds instead of faux wood blinds. Market research has proven that consumers are willing to pay a little more for an invisible valance system. In addition, this system is easy to install and does not break when painters or cleaning people remove the valance from the blind. These magnets are attached to the back of the valance with screws. The valance is then placed in position and "locks" on the head rail. Valance returns are mitered and glued to the valance eliminating the need for separate returns that could fall off. This clever magnet system allows the consumer to adjust and remove the valance with ease. | | | | | |

Sliding Panels are Hot!

The newest design trend for large expanses of glass is Sliding Panels. Made from our woven wood patterns, sliding panels add a contemporary flair or an Asian attitude to a room. This is a great treatment for sliding doors, picture windows, sliding windows and walls of glass. You can now show your client something that is truly unique and functional as well. Our "Sliding Panel Track" has an aluminum top track with panels that slide on rollers. Panel tracks can be made to stack to the right, left or center opening. Panels are made from 12" to 40" with up to 5 panels mounted on 1 track. Butt two tracks together to cover an expanse of up to 288" (maximum track width is 144"). Design options include adding a privacy or room-darkening lining, coordinating or contrasting edge bindings, and valances.
